When I render a Blu-Ray DVD file in Encore CS6 I get a message saying it can't find the file after the Build process. Do I have something set wrong in the Preferences or is it something else?
Thanks for any help.

First, there is no such thing as a Blu-Ray DVD... it is one or the other... so what are you trying to build... a Blu Ray or a DVD?
Post a screen shot of your screen where your are building "something" and are you trying to create an ISO file?
Also, if you are trying to create a Blu Ray or a dual layer DVD you MUST do as it says below
Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL Windows permissions
Is your error this one?
"Blu-Ray Object: [name of video file], Export file not found"
If not, post a screenshot.
If it is, see this thread:

Method described is to remove audio from timeline, delete audio from project, reimport audio, and add to timeline.

This link confirms the success of that method. Also adds a further method when it is a drive letter changing that causes the problem.
FYI, a thread sometimes found regarding this error has an Encore reinstall as a solution. That strategy is probably not useful for this error.
Hmm, OK Premiere exported a single file for H.264 Blu-Ray so the audio is already embedded. Not sure how to delete just the audio file and bring it back in. Also reinstalling did not work.
Great!
I removed the still and made my menu buttons ok. I burned the disk to dvd and yes - menu is the first play as it was supposed to be. Thanks for help!
Not sure what fixed it, but glad it is good now!
Thanks, that did it!
How did I get this error code? Does it have to do with my motion menu that I am using?
Thanks for your help.

I am using the latest version of Photoshop and Adobe Encore CD6 (because they bailed on it after this). Regardless, am having trouble creating dvd menus.
I create my menus in Photoshop and they work fine. I make sure to name the button layers as you see in the attachment. As you can see, I have no button highlights right now. Yet, when I preview the menu, you can see that the the buttons have this orange highlight. Where is the color for this highlight set in Encore?
Next Question: When I set a highlight in Photoshop (see the 3rd attachment), I have a simple white arrow next to the buttons. Yet, in he preview option in Encore, it changes the words of the button to black (even though the highlight layer does not cover that area) and the white arrow is black (see the 4th attachment).
Ideas?

However, you'll save a lot of headaches if you start your menu from an Encore library template.
You can add multiple layers to make the background, but you will get odd results in some circumstances if you don't leave the bottom layer named "Background."
Are you sure you didn't convert the text to a button in Encore? Do you get the same appearance if you add the arrow to the other buttons in PS?
This error is probably from multiple sources, and there has been no consistent fix reported. It can be media or drive. It can be permissions. A reinstall of Encore has fixed it in at least one situation, and reducing burn speed in another. Reducing bitrate/project size may avoid the error. Make sure you are running Encore "as administrator."
Test the workflow up to the point of actually burning a disk by a) building to an image and b) burning with an alternate software such as ImgBurn for PC or Toast for Mac.
I just re-did my menus. I did not convert the text to buttons in Encore. I just used the naming conventions on specific layers.
What I did find out was this:
Highlights must be one color (8 bit) per type, but up to 3 colors (=1, =2, =3).
They do not have to be smart objects, but a variety of problems occur if they include more than just what you see. The button size is what it takes to hold all ogjects in the button group.

The problem ended up with my BD drive failing. I tried downloading ImgBurn and my Norton software blocked it every time. I transferred my image file to another computer. I then found another image burning software that worked just fine. The BD I created worked just fine. Now I need to purchase another BD recorder. Not sure I will get ASUS any more as this play has hardly been used. It should not have failed so early on.
Thank you for your help.
Thank you for this answer. I am also having other strange problems.
I have a button that is just a piece of text with no highlight. When previewing the menu and hovering my mouse over this button, a line appears across the text.
When I use a highlight that just changes the color of the text, the preview offsets the text so the highlighted text is to the left of the button text and still leaves the line.
Again, there are no effects on the highlight layer and the layer is named (=1) highlight.
Ideas?
I had the same trouble. The video .m2v file was set to "don't transcode". I changed it to Automatic. Fixed it.
Glad you got it to work. But your change meant that Encore retranscoded the video. If the quality is good, no problem.
Probably all in the details! I sent you a PM so you can send me the psd to look at if you'd like.
