I'm trying to build a iso image of a simple project. The DVD build will work fine and is readable using VLC, but even though the Bluray build will finish too, the content cannot be played. Do you know if some parameters could miss during the export? Im using Encore CS5 on Windows 10.

There will be no more Encore CS 6 upgrades or updates. TMPGEnc Authoring Works 6 has a free trial version. You can create DVD and Blu-ray discs. This program has recently been updated(September 27, 2017). I think it is possible they will upgrade the program to include authoring Ultra HD Blu-ray discs.

Have not tried EN CS5 on Win10. First make sure you are running "as administrator."
But most problems happen before the build completes.
What is in the iso? Or build to a folder, so we can see.
VLC and other players are not the best test option, but a simple project will usually play.

Not exactly... the owner of the core modules that Adobe used inside Encore was sold, and the new owner removed the license, so Adobe could no longer develop Encore
Adobe then (seemingly) made the decision not to recreate what had been licensed to build an Encore replacement... but since I don't work for Adobe, that part is only conjecture

I just installed the latest Windows 10 update, and now when ever I start to use Encore a window opens up asking me to install quicktime. Can it cause problems if I choose to not install quicktime? I haven't had it installed since I was using Windows 7.

You need BD player software (e.g. PowerDVD) or a standalone player to play the movie.

Did a quick test. Simple BD project in EN CS5. Win 10. Exported as BD folder.
VLC 2.2.6 (latest version) simply does not open (from Windows Explorer "play with VLC" or from VLC). Note that I get the same result with other (EN CS6) folders and images. I thought it used to play BD folders, but perhaps not. I never did consider VLC a good tester.
Power DVD 17 opens and plays correctly.
My old standby Total Media Theater has not been updated for Win 10 and did odd things, so just got PowerDVD 17. Working well so far.

Hi,
I have a project that I've just finalized, containing 31 videos of about 1-1.5 minutes each.
When I go to build the final image I get the message mentioned in the title.
All of my videos are 1280x720
H.264, AAC
2 Audio Channels
Do I have a setting wrong in encore that's preventing the final build or something?

DVD or Bluray?
This suggests that you are letting Encore transcode. That alone is not optimal. Prepare your imported files to be m4v (if BD) and wav. And legal for dvd or bd.
Encore will not transcode when doing automatic to a rate below a certain bitrate. It is not 2 exactly. What us the exact error?

Encore When I preview my project I cannot get to page 2 with additional videos.
Help Please! For DVDs, a multi-page menu is converted to a single-page menu with no changes in functionality. I understand this. All I want to do is to see page 2 when I preview. I have access to 1 thru 16 but I can't figure out how to get to (link to) 17-26 on page 2. It's as if it doesn't exist. I've linked to buttons on page 2, I've linked to video 17 on page 2 and the video plays, but again I can't see the full menu on page 2. Please help!!!! I'm on a severe deadline.

No, there is a loss of functionality, because there is a limit to the number of buttons per menu.
While you can "edit in photoshop" using duplicate menus, I think you'll still have to re link. But bottom line, for the DVD, you need separate menus with no more than 16 buttons each (widescreen).

First, Thank you so much for responding! I have it set up with only 16 buttons on the first page and 17-26 buttons on the second page. I just need to be able to somehow see or link the pages when I am previewing. Basically I need to link the two pages so that when I insert the DVD my client has access to both pages when the menu comes up. Thank you.

Put 15 buttons on page 1 + one more as a link to the second menu. You can't just link to page 2, because when Encore converts it to a single menu there will be too many buttons. Also, I don't believe you can preview a multi-page menu.

The final destination will be a DVD, but I am building as a disk image.
The message appears when I attempt to build the image or when I right click the asset and say "Transcode Now".
What transcode settings should I use and should I change the format of my video files and re-import?

Please post screenshots of the project panel where we can see transcode status and settings, and also the build panel where we can see the current Encore prediction of how full the disk is.
