To deliver a file in HD, H.264. Just no menus, other than what the TV displays.

Thanks for the info!  I really appreciate it!

Do you know if there is a way to create DVD like menus?  Our company produces driver safety training videos, and our DVDs include video segments and stills that need to be played in a certain order.

I'm concerned that this will require actual coding to do.

Having media on a USB drive is an attractive idea to me because those files won't have the DVD resolution restriction.  But without being able to dictate the flow of the assets, its not viable for us.

When I try to import .m2v and .ac3 files into my project, this error message comes up. Only the audio is imported. Any help is appreciated!

Note that this a Mac operating system error.

When this error occurs on file import (rather than build), check to see if you have a slash, colon, or other character in file name (or path?).

    Thanks that was it.

  • 06/24/18--15:45: Encore Not Opening
  • I just downloaded Encore for the first time and when I open it I get an error stating "Adobe Encore CS6 cannot run in non-royalty serialized mode. The application needs to be serialized with a royalty bearing serial number." I have contacted chat support and all they do is uninstall/reinstall Encore, do a clean uninstall of creative cloud and reinstall everything. I have spent hours by myself and with Adobe trying to get this figured out and it is frustrating, I pay over $60 a month so I can have whatever tools I need quickly and not being able to use this has really caused some major stress. Maybe somebody on here has been thru this and found a fix. I have a Windows PC running Windows 10 OS 64bit and am subscribed to the Creatid ave Cloull apps suite. Can someone please help with this, and not uninstall/reinstall because this has been done hundreds of times and has not worked so that is not the issue.  Thanks.

  • If I understand correctly, you are installing using your Cloud subscription

How to get Encore using a Cloud subscription https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2372985

-an option to check to see more previous https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2426726

-and more on previous versions https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2389056 see reply #3

-and even more on previous versions https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2409527 see reply #1

Using the process above to install Premiere Pro CS6 (and the bundled Encore) SHOULD automatically let Encore work

    Bonjour a tous,

Je réalise un blu ray et DVD de danse avec 34 chapitres.

J'ai créé 34 liste de diffusion de chapitre  mais malheureusement seulement 1è ou 18 sont accessibles.

Y-a t'il une limite au nombre de chapitre ?

    0 0

Maximum number of buttons vary by menu type:

    DVD, 4:3 menu = 36 buttons

    DVD, 16:9 menu = 18 buttons

    Blu-ray menu = 32 buttons

  • That's something you have to do when setting menus in the authoring program ... if you do a full burn to a DVD or BluRay disc setting. Rather than just copy the exported file as data to the disc. PrPro isn't designed to actually create a DVD/B-D file.

  • I am using Encore CS6 to author, but cannot get the result I am looking for...getting the chapter names to display when I skip to chapters when playing the created DVD. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Kindest regards...Jere

  • You need to change that in the Encore app as you're setting up your menus.

  • 06/25/18--14:36: Chapter Marker Names
  • Does anyone how to get the chapter names you place on chapters in Premiere to show when you skip to chapters when playing a BD or DVD instead of the default of names of Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc...

  • Not sure if this answers your question. But you can title your chapter markers in either Premiere or Encore. In Premiere you double click on the chapter marker to name it in the popup window. In Encore you click on the chapter marker and name it in the Properties Panel. As far as the chapter marker name displaying on BD or DVD player, I'm not sure if there is a way to do that. BD player have become way more sophisticated than DVD players, so maybe some BD players actually show the chapter marker names that you make in Premiere/Encore. But I wouldn't count on it, and that would depend on the player.

  • As Brandon says..

If you named in PR, check it by looking to see whether the chapters are there in EN after import.

But my tests indicate that the chapter names do not display via DVD or BD, just numbers. If they do, it would be player specific.

    Yes, seems odd...
