I'm in the process of making a 10-chapter DVD using Encore 3.0. Each video chapter has its own subtitle. On the Main Menu, I simply want a "On" and "Off" buttons to control the subtitles.
So, after searching the net for tutorials, I found the following: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4546001
Based on the tutorial above, here's what I've done:
1) I created a Subtitle track under each video timeline
2) I go to my Main Menu, and select the "On" button
3) On the Properties palette, I select "Specify Link" under the "Link" dropdown
4) On the Specify Link palette, I select the "On" button, and then select "1" under the Subtitle dropdown.
5) I click OK, and after a few seconds, Encore crashes. I tried it a few more times, and the same result.
Restarting Encore and my computer did not solve the crash.
