I don't know why this should be such a magical process - if I can see the project as a web site, then it already has all the real functionality embedded and everything else should be just a wrapper.
It has functionality within this context. That does not mean it translates to anything else. There is not process that I know of for translating the xml and javascript etc as you wish.
