It is an NTSC DVD at 29.97 fps.
Yeah I should have converted all those clips to the same size and PAR. I'm fairly new to video editing and didn't realize the mistake until I was about 150 clips into the project and the deadline was nearing haha... Looking back I phrased my question poorly. I'm thought it was weird that Encore didn't take up every core and every byte of memory trying to convert all that footage and instead chose to not use much memory and hardly use the cpu. Especially that it would start and stop working so rhythmically for so long (I think it was about twelve hours). I was able to complete the project and burn a DVD that worked and I still love Encore and PPro ( I know this problem completely caused by my mistakes) but why didn't Encore use all the memory and CPU available to transcode the project?
