Sorry to bring up such an old thread but I too am coming across this issue.
Not on Timeline User Permitted Operations but on Menu / Motion Menu User Operations.
I have a motion menu which I am able to 'skip' through using the fast forward buttons on my remote. (I bviously want to disable this function) Once the menu starts to fast forward the only way to stop it is to hit 'play' However once you do that, it renders all user functinalilty void (navigation and selection of buttons etc) The only way to 'restore' user functionality to the menu is to press the 'main menu' or 'title' button on the remote where the Menu / Motion menu starts again.
I am beginning to tihnk it might be the BD players that I am testing with (LG 255LG and another LG model the model number of which i don't have to hand but is similar) but I dont have any other BD players at hand to test!
However, in the same BD players I have tested a retail BluRay Disk and menu / motion menu user operations such as fast forward / rewind are prohibited... so I am slightly confused...
KurtyBoy, did you have any luck with this?
