I have checked all the online forums, even beyond the official "adobe" forums, with no help. Here is my situation: I have used Adobe Media Encoder to "encode" all my footage from Premiere CC to .m2v files (the mpeg 2 for video files, recommended for use with Encore). I've had no problems all day. When I realized I had a mistake with part of my video, I quickly fixed it in Premiere, sent it out to Media Encoder, and after it finished, would not import into Encore. Even though I had used the same codec I used earlier in the day. Here is the error I received: "The software that's used to decode the media is not availalbe on this system. Installing the correct decoders for the files you are working with may help to correct the problem."
Any ideas on why it let me import it earlier, but won't let me now?
EDIT 1:I am currently re-encoding the video file incase of corruption on that level. Other than that, I don't know what to do, encoding takes about an hour so hopefully I don't have to try too many different codecs.
