I have been using Encore for over 8 years and haven't had a problem with the output quality until now. I have edited the footage an Premier Pro and exported the footage from there. I brought the footage into Encore manually (not through the Dynamic Link).
I created the menu and a motion graphic with After Effects and everything previews fine. However, when I make a DVD (and a disk image) nothing looks right. The menu and film both look like a white, semi-transparent 'fill' has been overlaid over everything. I cannot think of any other way of describing it. In the screenshot attached, the top window is the Preview in Encore, the bottom is of the output video playing in Corel WinDVD.
In Premier Pro, I used a color correction filter on the footage from one of the cameras I used but that can't be it. The rendered footage plays correctly in Windows Media Player and Quicktime.
