Yes. bad video quality in. But I would have thought menu text, for instance, would look better in the blu-ray version. Instead, the text of the menus looks crisp in the DVD version and mushy in the blu-ray. It is hard to properly evaluate the clearness of the 8 mm part but at best I'd say it looked the same. ... But those menus appear SO different ...
