Hi! Could you please help me with bitrate?
My Sony HXR-MC2000 manual says that its maximum bitrate is 24M (1080/60i).
When deal with a Bluray project, should I set my target bitrate to 24 while configuring my export settings in Premiere/Encore/Encoder? Is it useless to set the bitrate to any value greater than 24 (since it is my camera bitrate)?
In Encore, when I set the transcoding settings to the maximum quality (target bitrate 35), my project exceeds the BD capacity. I want to be sure that I am delivering to my client the best quality that my camcorder can record. I prefer to split the project in 2 (back to my editing work 
) than lower the quality.
If I am confusing bit rates could you please suggest any reading material to better understanding encoding and it´s theory?
