Yes, a very nice feature! And for just what you now envision - A 3 chapter combo from any point in any of your timelines and in any order. (Each chapter playlist must be from one timeline, but you can put a chapter playlist into a playlist.)

Currently, my playlists only have one item each.

But let's say I had a playlist with 2 items, "Chapter 1" and "Chapter 4". Would they play seamlessly? Would the last frame of Chapter 1 be immediately followed by the first frame of Chapter 4 with no delay, pause, gap, etc.?

I don't think you ever get an error for no chapter end action. And all that happens without an end action, and you link to a chapter, is a Hollywood style chapter play - after that chapter, it keeps playing the rest of the movie.

I'll have to play around with it. Frankly I was just throwing stuff against the wall to see what would stick, so the details are a little foggy.

If a timeline has 4 Chapters and I link to Chapter 3 (and define no end action), it would just start playing at Chapter 3, continue right through Chapter 4, and when it got to the end it would execute the end action for the timeline. Does that sound right?

Not that it matters. Now that I know about Chapter Playlists and how they work, I'll be doing that from now on
