Audio pops in Blu-rays burned with Encore CS5, HELP PLEASE....

Hi everybody,

Here is my problem:

I am burning a feature film I worked on from Encore CS5. I have rendered my uncompressed .mov 24fps into an m4v 1080p 24fps for the video and then I was provided the soundtrack as AC3 (5.1 Dolby Surround).

So I put them both on my encore timeline and so far no problem. I instruct Encore not to transcode the Video nor the Audio, set up my Blu-ray properties, check the project for eventual errors and hit build.

It builds the Blu-ray perfectly, ejects it at the end and then... problem!

When I play the Blu-ray on my computer or on a Blu-ray player, the picture is perfect but you can hear little pops throughout the duration of the Blu-ray. They are not very loud but are still audible. They definitely are not on the AC3 I was supplied with I checked and double checked.

I tried burning on 2 brands of Blu-rays (Sony and Verbatim)

PC Specs:

2 Xeon X5680 @ 3.33GHz (24 cores)

96GB RAM

NVIDIA Quadro 6000

16TB hard drive split into RAID arrays

Would anybody have an idea of what the problem could be?

Thank you in advance.

Charles
