Hi,
I recently delivered a DVD project for a US client who does corporate training. It was shot in NTSC and encoded for DVD region 1.
The client has just asked me what it would take for me to provide this same DVD in a format they can use in Europe and New Zealand. Sadly they are not interested in sending me to those countries to reshoot.
Does anyone know what I need to do to make this DVD play in Europe (UK and Germany) and New Zealand? I assume that I must convert all the videos to PAL (I've never done that) and remake the DVD for the specific region. Anything else? Any ideas on what could possibly go wrong? I've heard that converting from NTSC to PAL is mathematically not a very clean process. This footage was shot at 720p, 24.
Thanks
Carolyn
