Re: Using Same video for multiple timelines?

Hi Stan!

So i have one video that is 30 minutes of Machu Picchu in Peru...lots of special effects. Looks amazing

So i want to use that footage 3 times

I export it as mpeg-2 DVD and put it in as an assert

Then i make three timelines using the same footage

timeline #1 i import the asset that says Peru Commentary only by Mark... edited by...music by etc and stick it before the video

timeline #2 i use the same video...only this time i import the video asset Peru with Music only...edited by...music by ...etc.

timeline #3 I again use the same video   and import video asset title Peru with Mark commentary and music...edited by...music by...etc

I actually might have 5 tracks using the Peru video when doen

I figure this way i can uise the video once and only extra storage on the DVD itself will be audio and the 14mb intro titles for each use of the Peru main video.

Looking to save maximum space as it will be tight :-)
