Re: Not able to duplicate DVD

See if you can use Imgburn to create an ISO and then write that ISO to a blank disc

Read http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1322583 for notes on installing Imgburn WITHOUT any toolbar add-ons... Set Imgburn to use the slowest burn speed your drive and media will use... I set my burn speed to 1x and let Imgburn adjust to the actual minimum

Is it a dual layer disk?

Can you copy it on the computer? Can you make a new disk from EN?

Are you certain there is nothing you have done differently?

I can only GUESS that upgrading to an incompatible operating system has somehow broken the registration

You are posting in the Encore (DVD Authoring) forum. What product are you using?

Is this an older version, such as CS6, CS5? Or a newer subscription?

I zipped the .ncor file and the whole project. I also have a menu file.

How do I get them to you?

The DVD's are all single layer.  I have not tried to copy the DVD to the computer, however it plays with no problem on the computers.  I am certain nothing has changed in our production.  My next move will be to upgrade our system from CS6 to Creative Cloud and use the suite to make the DVD's.  I am hoping we don't run into any duplication problems with the masters created.

Creative Cloud does NOT have a program to create a DVD... you still have to use Encore CS6

Unless you need new features in the latest Premiere Pro, you should find out why your duplicator is no longer working

Similar to John's comment, if the problem is with Encore, and it appears to be, it is likely you would have the same problem with a CC subscription. The main qualifier, is that a reinstall may help.

1. I have the full Adobe CC subscription so walk me thru how to use the cloud, especially your address.

2. Also, I just opened a 30 day trial to Drop Box Business. So, how would I get the files to you, especially your address in Drop Box.

I sent you a private message with my email. That is also the one for my dropbox.

Mac, it wasn't a menu issue, I think it was popping up during "saving".  I basically started over last night, after spending six hours chasing down every issue I was having with Encore I decided to just start over and redo the entire project in two hours.  Hoping I never author another DVD in Encore.

Encore is very unforgiving. Neil Wilkes, one of THE experts, recommends getting all the wrinkles worked out and then doing the final project. Just in case you do have to do another "last" Encore project!

Haha thanks.  I should actually do lots of Encore projects now because I think I know everything that doesn't work as expected, and every workaround.  I haven't authored a DVD is six years and I could've get DVD Studio Pro going.

Sorry; I don't have your email. (You can see yours, but I can't. And this is a public forum, so no email addresses in posts.) If you get email notices from the forum, you would get one that says I sent you a message.

Or you can click on the inbox next to your avatar at the top of the forum page and filter for "messages."

Ah, on Mac. I'm PC, and I don't know whether I can use your project folder. In any event, in the zipped file is the project file and a folder "_MACOSX" - inside that is "._xxx" where xxx is the project with .ncor extension. But no size.

In any event, my first test is the menu. The only problem I see is the buttons are far to the side, and by the time Encore modifies to DVD size, this can cause problems. But they are usually with the appearance of highlights. But I wonder.

I used the menu in a small project, but I see no jumping or shifts.

If you create a test version of your project with the menu and one timeline, remove all but the "Whale Rock" button and link that to the timeline, do you see the problem?
