Problem Solved. Many thanks to all for your suggestions. Thinking my computer was in immenent danger of crashing -and, it still may be - I decided to back up my video and audio files. In the process of backing up to an external drive, I discovered that my key asset source drive free space was very low. The free space was down around 15-20% of the drive. I decided to transfer some of my files not needed for producing the DVD to another drive. I was very fortunate in that that was the key to allowing me to burn my DVD. Note that I had been watching the drive space from Start>Computer and it appeared to be OK. The build process must have put the drive on the ragged edge. I know that Microsoft has done this to protect me from destroying the drive or losing data; however, I thought I had plenty of free space left. Apparently, I did not. Chalk this up to another rookie mistake. JimCott44
