Also, when I install Adobe Premier CS6, it gives me a window with options -
a serial number
a subscription
or a trial
I don't have the serial number, my subscription is not found, and I can only install the trial version.

Like PR, it would appear EN is conforming the audio. Or is this a dynamic link. Normally you wait for the confirm to finish. If it is never finishing, the .wav might be corrupt.

Look, I need a program ENCORE CS6, I have read the instructions - I need to download PREMIERE CS6, because it includes ENCORE.
I bought a subscription for a month PREMIERE PRO CC just to download Promière cs6
Ok, downloaded.
I can open the program PREMIER CS6, but only the trial (the program does not see my subscription). Ok, trial.
But the trial in the menu - HELP - does not show my nickname account in adobe.
ENCORE when I try to open, gives a message that does not open in the trial.
I also downloaded PREMIERE PRO CC. With this program, everything is fine, in the menu - help - it shows my account.

Ok, downloaded.
How/what did you download? The main alternative is to download/install this from the cloud desktop. Go to where you installed PR CC, left click the arrow to the right of "Open," then click on Manager, then Previous Versions, and select CS6.
I just did this recently, and I was not prompted for any number or login (since you are already logged in to your subscription).
You must be logged in with the same email as the account you subscribed under.

If you pick trial, it will not work. You must get it activated/running under your subscription.

DVDs produced with Encore CS6 will play in Windows 10 PCs, but only if they have the media options installed. If they can play commercial DVDs, it should be okay.
You can have a problem with a single disk out of a batch (bad media; failing burner) or an authoring problem (very disk will fail, but perhaps only on some platforms (works on player hooked to TV, not on PC). And this is always difficult when you're trying to get the client to troubleshoot.
Can you play a copy of the disk on a PC? On a player hooked to a TV?
If you believe you have a well-authored disk, just send another copy. But often you can't know that.
My quality control (when I was producing more disks than the very few I do now) included 1) software players (build to folder or image and play on PC; my favorite then was Total Media Theater; now PowerDVD - others, e.g. VLC often failed to correctly handle slideshows or such); 2) burn rewriteable and test on computer; then 3) test rewriteable on multiple DVD/BD players and TVs; 4) burn to DVD-R and same tests. If it was for a single client, I'd test the single disk going out more than if it was multiple clients. My best test (for finding oddities in Encore's processing) was my son's portable DVD player. If it would play it, anything would.

Thanks for your detailed response Stan.
Turns out it is an older laptop 3-4 years (this was all communicated via the clients mother -hence some confusion!).
The dvd sent out has since been played on an old dvd player and it works fine. The dvd played OK on my pc (windows 7 professional ) and I tested on my dvd player which worked fine.
She is now going to buy a dvd player!

Audio skips in Encore CS6 timeline
Hello,
I have used encore to make many DVDs, I have not done anything different this time around.
I use premiere pro to edit footage, that exported video and audio plays fine. The same exported video plays fine in encore if I just click the file and play in the project window. However, in the TIMELINE it skips every few seconds so about halfway through the video it becomes silent. I have tried exporting the audio as a .wav only and importing as an audio track, but the same problem continues. Messing with transcode or do not transcode has not solved the issue.
Any thoughts are helpful.

Tip:
Do the uninstall via Windows Control Panel. Only this route gives you the option to keep Encore while uninstall PrP_CS6, uninstalling PrP_CS6.
Do not uninstall via the Creative Cloud desktop manager. This method doesn't* give you the option to keep Encore while uninstalling PrP_CS6. Feel free to test it yourself, but for me the PrP_CS6 install always takes around 30 minutes, so it's a time-hog of an experiment.

Thank you for info about Pr 2019.0.1 version - and problem still existing. No point downloading it as users on the PP forum also complain of other instability issues on this new version.
It would be useful for Adobe Snr Product Management for AME/Premiere Pro to comment on this thread about H264 Blu Ray export - at the moment users are left asking questions without answers.
If we had a sensible response (ie the problem is acknowledged and will be fixed) the thread could be closed.
Do you know how do we escalate this ?.
I am working on a project at present where Mpeg 2 may not address size of material for the disc and I will not sacrifice quality.

I still haven't had the chance to try these steps, as I've been doing the subtitles directly within Encore (I only had a small amount done within PPro anyway).
Nonetheless, I'm marking your answer as correct (or accepted or whatever), for the simple reason that I don't want to leave the topic open and run the risk of forgetting to do so. I do appreciate your efforts here.
One point... I tried the subtitles I have done so far (about a third of the file) and created a Blu-Ray image and it does indeed work just fine from Encore (i.e., it shows the subtitles in PowerDVD)!
