Let us know! I'm curious as to whether a burned disk will perform - and I don't have that much time to play!

Thank you very much. Your advice helped me  - I made an image with Encore and burned discs with Toast.  But it is a pity that before it was able to burn discs with encore DVD, and now it is not (all discs end burner are the same).

I'm glad this workaround helped. When you have been used to burning from Encore, it is an annoyance.

Missing library content files.

I had to reinstall encore cs6 but now I am missing most of the library content files when I open the program.  How can I load all the library content files?

I see bdmv and certificate. Here's a more clear picture that i put up on youtube.

Hello, I know that this is an older video for encore but I need help since most of the stuff is the same. I'm using Adobe Encore CS6 and after I burn my DVD it does not recoginize it on any of my blu ray player or xbox one which has a blu ray player built inside. When I open the source folder on my computer it shows that the data is written because it would say something like 10.5 gb left on disk out of a 25gb blu ray disk. It seems that it is not recognizing the way that the files are written on the blu ray. It would be awesome if you could help me out please. Thank you

Re: Hello,

Best bitrate for static screen and audio to get the most audio possible?

I am making a DVD With about 53 minutes of video that comes in at 2515 mb at these settings

Quality  4

VBR, 2 Pass

Min Bitrate 2.8

Target Bitrate 5

Max Bitrate 7

GOP settings

          M Frames 3

          N Frames 15

Then i have about 4 hours of audio i would like to get on there.

I am basically using a static .jpeg  and two titles and none of them will change throughout the whole audio.(video)

I see it is best to use PCM but maybe i could use dolby or another format that gives me more room.

Thoughts about audio settings and bitrates for the visual jpeg part of it for the most conservative use of space

Thanks!

MArk

PS i was going to try to do it in audio only but because i am going to sell it...better safe than sorry

Set your Encore DVD/BluRay output to an ISO file or to a folder on your hard drive and then use the FREE Imgburn to write files or folders or ISO to disc for DVD or BluRay (send the author a PayPal donation if you like his program)

.

Read http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1322583 for notes on installing Imgburn WITHOUT any toolbar add-ons... Set Imgburn to use the slowest burn speed your drive and media will use... I set my burn speed to 1x and let Imgburn adjust to the actual minimum

If that works, you have some other software getting in the way of Encore using the drive

If you still can't burn using Imgburn, you may have a failing drive

Adobe Encore for DVD and BluRay. Need help.

Encore, DVD, BluRay.  Looking to submit a short for a film festival and they require hard copy.  Adobe discontinued Encore.  Now they also changed their drop down feature to download Premiere Pro CS6 which by default hooks you up with Encore.  This feature is no longer available.  I do not want to use  FCX because the images look like crap.

Anyway.....thanks for the info here.  Sounds like it installs....and if you find the executeable you can run it.  Is there a direct link for the CS6/Pr Pro installer?

(Sorry; I'm not sure why the quote graphic broke above, or how to repair it, since the quote tool disappears when editing a prior post.)

I followed a walk-through somewhere here for manually downloading PrP CS6 (as a PrP CC subscriber) from the Adobe website.  I can't find it at the moment, but here is a comparable one: Using Encore CS6 with PremierePro CC «  DAV's TechTable  So, no, I did not find any simple link to click on in the desktop CC app, to start installing Encore CS6.  But the manual install-from-web worked, with some perseverance.

The most notable headache: I had to manually download the missing library of templates for menus.  That walk-through is here: Library, title templates, template projects missing: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encore

That took a while, and a little thoughtful reading of the walk-through ... although thorough, those instructions are not wholly unambiguous, so you have nose through the file structures in order to figure out what they mean wrt moving files from the download and into the standard Adobe folder set.  Hardly impossible, but a little first-gear grindy-up-the-hill for first-timers.

... That might work better than trying to get it through CC? We can only hope it actually runs and creates discs.  Please report back if it does.

Yes, Encore CS6 is creating discs for me (from PrP CC project exports).  I've made MPEG2-DVDs that went pretty flawlessly, and have created MPEG2/Blu-Ray images that seemed to export fine; I just haven't gotten to burning to disc and verifying yet, but based on the results to date, I'm expecting no problems.  (If I run into anything noteworthy, I'll post it.)

Re: When trying to author a Blu-ray Image file Encore crashes after a successful transcode of all motion menues when it tries to build the disk image.

I am not sure what you mean.  Where is the Silence file generated or how can I substitute another?  What do you mean by build to a folder, how?

I am trying to build an Image File and I have specified it be put in the folder named " Output files".

I have one main menu and five sub-menus all with motion backgrounds.  All video is 1440 x 1080 exported from Premiere Pro CS5 as .mpeg files.

Chapter markers added to them in Encore CS5 and linked to menues.

The menus and chapter markers all test fine, no errors transcoding everything before I click on build.  It crashes when it gets to "Silence.ac3"

I have disabled software virus protection and rebuilt this 3 times now on different memory locations and hard drives but it still crashes when it gets to "Silence.ac3".  Very Frustrating, please explain my questions above.

Thanks in advance

"Silence.ac3" is a file in a folder named "Video" which Encore generates along with mp24x3NTSC720x480.mpg,  Transparent.spu, and Videoblack.png   The video folder is inside a folder named Sources along with other folders .mpeg_ses_ses  files.

This is where I found it.

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details such as the kind of burner, error messages and so on.

Welcome back to the thread! lol.

How old is your bluray player? Try it on a second bluray player. Don't use the xbox as your primary test, even if it is part of your final goal.

What kind of disk are you burning to?

To post screenshots, you must log on to the forum. You can't post them via email. (Don't know if that is why there is no image in your post.)

What folders are in the bdmv folder? What is in the bdmv/stream folder? At least one .m2ts file?
